Position Summary

As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen staff across all areas of operation. From prepping fresh ingredients and assisting with cooking on the line to helping maintain cleanliness and organization, you will be expected to operate at a high level of speed and accuracy. Plating skills and fast-paced cooking abilities are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist chefs and line cooks with daily prep work, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
Execute food prep and cooking with speed, accuracy, and consistency
Occasionally assist with dishwashing if needed to support the team
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment
Help manage inventory, receive deliveries, and properly store food and supplies
Assist with plating and final preparation of dishes to ensure presentation standards
Follow kitchen safety procedures and food handling guidelines at all times
Communicate and work efficiently with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Adapt to fast-paced service demands and shift priorities as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Proven kitchen experience in a high-volume environment
Strong knife skills and understanding of food prep techniques
Ability to cook quickly while maintaining quality and consistency
Plating experience and attention to presentation detail
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
Desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of the team
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
